Join us and you will become a source of expertise and advice on the interpretation and communication of economic, financial, Government, work based-learning and statistical data that supports the development of our strategies and policies. You will also undertake market research within the Building Services Engineering sector, on our competitors, our existing customer base and potential markets. Monitoring internal ad-hoc projects will also be a key element of the role, as will developing a broad range of contacts to ensure that the best information, and thus competitive advantage, is gained. You will also coordinate the collection and collation of company data as well as analysing both quantitative and qualitative data and then reporting on your findings.
With previous research based experience and educated to degree level or equivalent, you`ll have a good working knowledge of 16+ education and training systems. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce concise and easy to read reports, are also key, as well as familiarity with using the internet as a research tool and knowledge of Excel. Any experience of bid writing, bid management or tender portals would be a distinct advantage.
